How do I verify my email address?

Since the introduction of PSD2 and SCA (more on that here), verifying your email address is an important part of becoming a WeSwap user.

Luckily, it’s quick and easy and you can use your mobile app or online dashboard to do it:

Web dashboard:

  • Log in and click Profile
  • Under your email address click Resend verification email
  • Check your inbox. The verification email will be sent to the address you signed up to WeSwap with. The subject of the email is “Hello! Please confirm your WeSwap email address.”
  • Click Confirm my email and you’ll be sent back to the dashboard
  • Then you’re done, your email is verified

App:

  • Log in to your app
  • There should be a banner across the top of your screen prompting you to verify your email address
  • If you still need to verify your phone number too, you’ll have a verify phone number banner, on the side you’ll see a bell with a number
  • Tap the banner and then tap verify your email address
  • Tap Resend verification email
  • Check your inbox. The verification email will be sent to the address you signed up to WeSwap with. The subject of the email is “Hello! Please confirm your WeSwap email address.”
  • Click Confirm my email and you’ll be sent back to the dashboard
  • Then you’re done, your email is verified
