Yes. There are limits on how much you can load and how much you can carry on your card at one time.
Minimum you can load: £10 (or €15, NKr500, SKr500, DKr500)
Maximum single load: £3,000 or equivalent or equivalent in other currencies.
Maximum you can load in one year: £12,000 or equivalent in other currencies. This means that you cannot load more than £12,000 during any given year.
Maximum you can carry at one time: £6,000 across all currencies. This means that you cannot have more than £6,000 on your WeSwap card at any time.
Want to increase your load limits?
This is something we review very carefully and is not guaranteed to all customers.
To request increased loading limits, we need you to contact us here and send us the following details:
- A brief explanation on why you need higher loading limits
- Confirmation of the source of your funds. For this you’ll need to attach a bank statement with:
- your name
- your current address (the same address that’s registered to your WeSwap account)
- account number and sort code
The account these details are from must have a balance higher than £24,000.
Once we receive these documents, we’ll process them and let you know the outcome of your request as soon as possible.
