HOW DO I INVITE FRIENDS?
Inviting friends is easy: you send them your unique invite link, they sign up to WeSwap and that’s that.
Once your friends have opened a full account, both of your accounts will be credited with your rewards within 5 working days.
Just tap INVITE FRIENDS in the app menu, or share your link on your dashboard here.
Remember - for your invites to count, friends need to sign up using your invite link, as we cannot track invitations that are not sent and accepted through this.
Please note, your personal invite codes should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes. Please abide by our referral honour code when inviting friends or contacts to join us.
- This referral promotion (“the Promotion”) is available to WeSwap users who successfully refer friends to join WeSwap.
- To count towards the Promotion, invited friends must:
- be new users who do not have an existing WeSwap account, and
- sign up and be accepted for a fully validated WeSwap account
- Once a friend has successfully signed up, any referral rewards will be credited to both your accounts within 5 business days.
- You can earn rewards for a maximum of 10 friends invited.
- Once you have successfully referred 5 friends, your 7-day swap fees will be 0%. This pricing will apply to your account for as long as you are a WeSwap customer. If you close your account and open a new one, the Promotion will no longer apply.
- The value of referral rewards may vary from time to time and will be detailed here.
- Any bonus is a non-refundable promotion.
- You are entitled to a 14-day ‘cooling off’ period from the date your account has been validated. Should you wish to close your account and cancel your card, we will issue a full refund of any loads and swap fees paid, providing the card has not been used during this period for any purchases or cash withdrawals.
- If you have used your card during the 14-day cooling off period for any purchases or cash withdrawals you will not be entitled to a refund of any fees.
- If you request a refund, any spent funds resulting from any bonus will be deducted from the amount eligible for refund. For example, if you load £55 onto your WeSwap account, receive a £5 bonus credit, and spend £5 using your WeSwap card, you would be able to request a refund for a £50, not inclusive of any redemption fees that may apply after the 14-day cooling off period.
- We reserve the right to not apply the Promotion, revoke the Promotion or suspend accounts if we suspect any form of cheating, fraudulent activity, improper promotion of the programme or improper use of the product.
- We reserve the right to modify the offer at any time. Communication of such amendment, variation or cancellation will be added to these terms. By continuing to invite friends after an update to the terms, you are indicating that you are accepting them.

We love that travellers everywhere have fun earning rewards spreading the word about WeSwap. But we also want to make sure we’re not spamming the internet. No one likes spam. To make sure we're all promoting fairly and responsibly, we ask that you read and agree to our honour code when you refer your friends or contacts to WeSwap.
THE WESWAP REFERRALS HONOUR CODE
As a user of WeSwap and a responsible traveller, I agree that:
- I will register only one WeSwap account in order to earn rewards.
- I will only invite real people.
- I will talk about WeSwap and any WeSwap promotions honestly and accurately, to people I believe have a need for currency exchange and will use and benefit from the product on holiday, ensuring all my referrals know that WeSwap is a community-based currency card designed for travelling abroad.
- I will not spam people, only contacting people when I have their permission.
- I will make sure my referrals activity aligns with WeSwap's marketing; working with WeSwap rather than against. No encouraging people to create duplicate accounts, create accounts solely to get rewards, use the product otherwise than intended, or abuse the programme.
- I understand WeSwap is about mutual transparency / honesty and will provide help and feedback when requested.
- I understand that if I don’t abide by the WeSwap referrals honour code, my account may be reviewed and in severe cases, my promotions may be revoked and my account suspended. We don’t want to have to do this, so please play nice!
