The legal bit
This promotion (“the Promotion”) is available to new WeSwap customers who have been referred to WeSwap via the promotional link on the MoneySuperMarket website. In order to be eligible for the promotion new users must:
- have signed up from this link, without clicking through any other referral link, and have accepted the cookie
- have been accepted for a fully validated account
- have loaded £800 or more
Once you have successfully signed up and loaded your account, your first 7-day swap fee will be 0%. After you have made your first swap, our normal swap fees (1%-1.4%) will apply. See here for our standard swap fee structure.
Your £23 bonus will usually be credited to your account within 5 working days of their first load of £800 or more. But in exceptional circumstances it may take up to 10 working days.
- Each customer is eligible for this Promotion only once. Signing up with duplicate accounts will result in the promotion being refused or withdrawn on each account.
- If you sign up for WeSwap via our mobile app, you will not receive this Promotion.
- If you close your account and open a new one, the Promotion will no longer apply.
- You must load your account within 6 months of signing up for the Promotion to apply. If you load you account after this 6 months period, you will not qualify for the Promotion.
- WeSwap reserves the right to not apply the Promotion, or refuse a bonus, if we suspect any form of cheating, fraudulent activity, or improper use of the product.
- Any bonus is a non-refundable promotion.
- You are entitled to a 14-day ‘cooling off’ period from the date your account has been validated. Should you wish to close your account and cancel your card, we will issue a full refund of any loads and swap fees paid, providing the card has not been used during this period for any purchases or cash withdrawals. If you have used your card during the 14-day cooling off period for any purchases or cash withdrawals, you will not be entitled to a refund of any fees. a/ Refund requests after the 14-day cooling off period will be subject to a £5 redemption fee. b/ The inactivity fees will not be applied if there is no activity on your Account for a consecutive period of 12 months. c/ Refunds will only be made to the original source of the load. If you request a refund, any spent funds resulting from the £23 bonus will be deducted from the amount eligible for refund. For example, if you load £800 onto your WeSwap account, receive the £23 bonus credit, and spend £5 using your WeSwap card, you would be able to request a refund for a £745, not inclusive of any redemption fees that may apply after the 14-day cooling off period.
We reserve the right to amend, vary, or cancel these terms and conditions or to withdraw this Promotion at any time upon reasonable notice. Communication of such amendment, variation or cancellation will be added to these terms.
