HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY WESWAP CARD?

There are 3 ways to do this.  

  1. Via the WeSwap app 
  1. Via your online dashboard 
  1. Over the phone 

The WeSwap app 

  • When you log into your account you'll see a banner along the top saying ACTIVATE YOUR NEW CARD. Tap that banner.   
  • If you haven’t verified your phone number, a prompt will come up and you’ll need to confirm your telephone number 
  • Once you’ve confirmed your number or if you already have, just follow the prompts and enter the last 4 digits of your WeSwap card.  
  • Tap Activate 
  • We'll send you a text with your PIN.  

Online Activation 

  • When you log into your account you'll see a banner along the top saying Have you received your WeSwap card?. To the right is a Get Started button. Click this button.  
  • A prompt will come up asking you to confirm your telephone number and the last 4 digits of your WeSwap card.  
  • Follow the prompts and click Activate 
  • We'll send you a text with your PIN.  

Phone Activation 

To activate your card over the phone please call 020 30536610 or +44(0)20 34740747 (from outside the UK).  

Remember to have your card handy when calling to activate your card.  

A few things to remember before you activate you card: 

  • Don't forget to sign the back of your card as soon as you get it. 

Youll need to activate your card if you have requested a replacement card.  Once your card's activated, you'll need to use it first with Chip and PIN to activate contactless payments.
