When a customer loads money, there are certain checks that are conducted.
We carry out most of our checks prior to your bank pre-authorisation, but some checks can only be carried out after the pre-authorisation, meaning that the funds have left your bank account but are not yet credited on your WeSwap account.
Normally, a load gets approved or rejected immediately, but in some cases security checks can cause a slight delay, however the load will always be settled or rejected within 1 business day from the time it was made.
If your load is not credited yet and in status "processing" on your activities, it doesn’t mean that it was rejected, it just means that the checks are still ongoing:
- On the main screen of the App you have your activity and you will see the status of the load
- If the load is still in review, then you will see the status as “Processing”.
Once the load has completed the security checks, it will be:
- Completed - the funds will be credited on your WeSwap balance
- Rejected - this means that it failed, and the funds have been released back to your bank account. Normally you see them back in your bank account within the next working day, however, some banks reserve or hold the funds for up to 7 days.
If you tried to load multiple times without success, you can review here the reason why this may have happened.
